Red Ribbon Week Activities

Plant the Promise

We join in with other schools, businesses, families and youth across America and plant tulip bulbs that will bloom and serve as a reminder to stay drug-free. Bulbs that are planted during October will bloom in April during National Alcohol Awareness Month.

Educational Health Fair

The Educational Health Fair is for all students, parents, grandparents, and guardians. It features more than a dozen organizations and agencies such as the DEA, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Fort McDowell Department of Education, Maricopa County Health Department, PTO, Boys and Girls Club, Kiwanis, and High School volunteers.

Door Decorating

Classrooms work together to create incredible door decorations with age-appropriate messaging around making good choices and living a drug-free life.

Spirit Week

Students are encouraged to show their support through spirit days! These include fun dress-up opportunities like crazy sock day, hat day, and wear red day!

The Pledge Wall

Fountain Hills students took the pledge to live a drug and alcohol free life! Pledges are displayed in the halls as a reminder through the year of their commitment.
